Not all PRP treatments are the same. At LUMI Clinics, PRP hair loss treatment is physician-led and uses a medical-grade PRP separation system designed to process a larger blood volume and achieve a higher concentration of platelets. Our PRP system can process 120-180mL of blood compared to 10-20mL at other clinics. A larger blood draw allows for a higher-dose PRP with more concentrated growth factors. Smaller volumes may result in a product that is mostly plasma rather than platelet-rich. Higher-quality PRP preparation, medical oversight, and individualized care require more time, expertise, and resources, which can result in a higher cost.
